Mentoring
Staff
When the Tech Angel programme began, one of its main focuses was Staff Mentoring. This has continued through to the present day with Year 13 students being assigned a teacher who they mentor throughout the course of a year. This could take place during their free periods, lunchtimes or after school as often as necessary to reach the goals they have set at the beginning of their relationship.
In 2007 there have been around 15 Year 13 girls who mentor one or several staff members. Training has ranged from basic skills such as file organisation to more advanced work such as website development and design principles.
