DigiOps
The DigiOps programme is a Ministry of Education funded initative to develop the innovative use of information and communications technologies in schools. There are 11 projects currently in development, with Tech Angels being one of them.
The Tech Angel leaders have been working with DigiOps and journalists to document the process they went through in 2006, as the programme was being restructured. This documentation, the case study and other information such as the structure and implementation of the programme will be available on the DigiOps website from mid November. In 2007 this work is continuing with case studies being prepared on some of the activities that the Tech Angels are involved in. It is hoped that this information will be used by other schools in setting up similar projects to the Tech Angels. To visit the DigiOps website go here.
